Rent a nice sea view apartment during your stay during the Cannes Film Festival in May 2017. The apartment has WiFi, air conditioning, parking, equipped kitchen, terrace facing west, bedroom with double bed and living room with 2 sofa/beds. Swimming pool with deckchairs in the residence.

The apartment is 3 km from the Palais des Festivals. The center of Cannes is easily accessible on foot, by bus ,near to the residence, operating day and night, or 2 minutes by train!

In May 2017 the Film Festival will celebrate its 70th anniversary!

The first Cannes Film Festival was born in 1946, just after the war. The first Palme d'Or was awarded in 1955 in Cannes. Today the festival attracts spectators and stars from around the world, but the Film Festival is all about exchanges between professionals from the film industry and projections of long and short films in the Palais des Festivals and cinemas of Cannes.

Our apartment in Cannes is for rent for the duration of the Festival, so 11 nights from May 17 to 28, 2017, to € 1300 Price for 4 persons.

Evening dress

Bring or rent an evening dress, a tuxedo and a bow tie.

Possible rent in two boutiques in Cannes: "Air de fête" at 16 rue du Dr Gazagnaire and "Autour d’un soir" at 27 bd Carnot.

The best place to see celebrities are the Steps, you must be placed as soon as possible in the day, with a ladder!

 

Cinéma

Cinema on Beach offers free outdoor screenings of films from Cannes Classics or world premieres. Free access, no possibility of reservation of seats.

Directors' Fortnight: single selection from Cannes to open its doors to the public through a subscription system and ticket sales. The tickets are availables in the Theatre Croisette room at the JW Marriott and the Arcades cinema. The other rooms are accessible through accreditation or invitations. Tickets are on sale on the forecourt of Malmaison (47, boulevard La Croisette) at the opening of the Festival.

To attend the Critics' Week, free tickets can be collected at the Espace Miramar (corner Croisette and Pasteur road) within the limit of available seats.

The films of the Official Selection are available by invitation only.

Transport

Palm Bus weekly card at 11 € allows take unlimited bus for a week in Cannes.

The night bus network Palm Bus will be strengthened during the Festival. It allows to go home even at night.

By late afternoon the southern part of the Croisette is closed to car traffic.
